A joint initiative...
... To promote agroecology
Le Centre National d’Agroécologie is an association born from the will to gather stakeholders invested in both development and promotion of agroecology. Its purpose is to bring together, on a national and international scale, the people, the associative forces, private companies and public associations around the same desire to convey a vision of agriculture focused on Carbon.
The mainstays of this agriculture? The permanent plant cover of soils and agroforestry.
The Carbon Fertile, that is what it is?
Water, soil, climate, landscapes, productivity, biodiversity, Carbon is the key to fertility. The more carbon-rich a soil is, the more soil life promotes plant health, plant growth and development. Its storage in soils is now an agronomic, ecological, economic and societal emergency.
